Glass Lid Chest Freezers

Glass lid commercial chest freezers are usually employed where an element of customer display is required - ice cream storage, for instance, or frozen vegetable or ready meals sold in a shop or a supermarket. Using a commercial chest freezer in this way usually requires a little more structuring of the freezer cabinet volume with racks and wire baskets than would be the case if it was being used back of house for general high volume storage - products will need to be easily identifiable and reachable for customers. One common approach is to suspend wire baskets at the top of the chest freezer for individual products intended for customers, and retain the lower portion of the freezer for larger boxes of refills (making your restocking process more efficient).
