Lincat Opus 700 Induction Hobs Range

Induction hobs are fantastic for compact or mobile kitchens without access to gas, or where the requirement is for energy efficiency, easy operation and rapid heat up to cooking power in an instant to meet unpredictable demand. The Lincat Opus 700 range of two cooking zone or four cooking zone induction hobs respond quickly and have matchless temperature control in their class.

Power is provided by 3.5kw induction cooking zones, each achieving cooking power equal to a 6.3kw gas hob. Induction cooking is 90% efficient (only 10% of heat lost) compared to solid electric at 55% or gas at 50%.

The units are incredibly tough, built with high grade stainless steel and topped with a 6mm impact resistant Scott Ceran® glass ceramic surface, while powerful internal cooling fans protect against overheating and ensure efficient running and long service life.

Further efficiency is provided by the pan maximiser function, which detects any compatible pan surface and delivers exactly the right power for super precise temperature control. The pan detection function also cuts power when a pan is lifted, saving running costs and creating a safer and more comfortable kitchen.

These countertop units are very simple to operate with rotary controls and an LED power level display. They come with an easy to change filter, built into the base of the unit, and flush, smooth surfaces mean cleaning is incredibly straightforward - because induction cooking heats only the pan and not the surface of the hob, spills can even be wiped off during service.
