Pasta boilers are waterbath boilers specifically intended to cook large volumes of pasta quickly and easily. They come with a range of features depending on the manufacturer and model, intended to make pasta cooking easier - programmable digital timers, alarms, even multiple configuration options such as for steaming, hot holding and boiling. Some pasta boilers can also be used to boil other staples such as noodles or fresh vegetables, although basket design is a factor (mesh must be fine enough to prevent the food you want to boil escaping into the tank)
