Constructed from high grade stainless steel for durability and strength, the unit also has a polished contemporary finish for eye catching good looks. The versatile Opus OE7702 is actually 3 products in 1, as it can easily and successfully be used as a bain marie and as a steamer. Many other foods such as noodles, fresh vegetables, custards and sauces can be cooked, steamed or maintained at required temperature. A starch removal feature in the pasta boiler ensures that cooking water stays fresh for longer with great results and tasty food.

This robustly built appliance is part of the Opus 700 range and has external dimensions of 1050-1105mm(h) x 600mm(w) x 737mm(d). Its clever design allows a high output yet takes up minimal floor space in the kitchen - the unit is only 600mm wide. The net weight is 65 kilos and it is supplied with height adjustable legs as standard. This product must be hardwired to the electric supply; the electrical power rating is a substantial 9kW. The stainless steel fabricated tank is corrosion resistant and has a capacity of 40 litres; the unit should be plumbed to water and waste for safety, convenience and ease of use. The drainage tap is located in the cabinet.

The appliance features unique flush fitting plate elements that are easy to clean, and a boil dry protection system for peace of mind. There is a choice of optional pasta baskets which are available in different sizes; every catering business is individual with particular requirements. The pasta boiler accommodates 1/1 and 1/2 GN containers - which are 150mm deep - when in use as a bain marie. Also, if the unit is working as a steamer, 1/1 and 1/2 GN perforated containers with lids can be purchased. This is a high volume, high performance, rugged appliance that will repay its investment over many years service.
