I ordered a Sharp microwave on a Monday and was delighted when it was delivered at lunchtime on Tuesday. Unfortunately there was slight cosmetic damage to the machine but on contacting Catering Appliance Superstore they sorted it out super quick to the satisfaction of everyone. I returned to Catering Appliance for my next purchase, as the customer service I received when an ice machine went wrong was outstanding. It was a machine that had gone faulty during its warranty, several engineers failed to get it going and it fell out of its warranty, but they continued to chase the manufacturer and I couldn’t have been more impressed with how they resolved the issue.

In this mad fast corporate world it’s important to recognise when a company gets it right and return the loyalty. I had found the new purchase slightly cheaper with another company, but I felt more confident buying from Catering Appliance. The staff on the phone are very helpful.

Order arrived late and past the date required and was one item was damaged. Slow communication from customer service and wouldn’t use again, still awaiting resolution of order.

I rang and asked before I ordered about whether the height of fridge included the wheels and i was told yes. It actually did not include the wheels and was much taller than expected so caused enormous problems and had to be dropped outside of building as the delivery guys couldn’t get it in. (They did try).
Other than that service was excellent but would not have ordered if I had known about the correct height which was why i asked.

Some bad flimsy packaging causing breakages and requiring replacement hassle. Don't put glass light tubes in paper bags!

We've now bought 2 items for our Village Hall from Catering Appliance Superstore. It's so good to be able to actually speak to people who know what they are selling and help with choosing the right appliance for the job. The help has been invaluable, the prices are always competitive, the communication comprenhensive and the delivery timescales excellent.

Ordered new commercial fridge Friday afternoon. It arrived at 9 am the following Monday .
They installed it in the kitchen and took all the packaging away.
Very good value.
Cant fault them.

Ordered a product smd they told me it would be delivered in 1-2 working days. Its for a busy takeaway. I went with this supplier due to urgent delivery the fact it was almost next day. Haven't received it. Emailed with no reply? Haven't been updated now having to place another order with another company. Unsure if I'll get to cancel or return the item.

I have reviewed your ordering experience and would like to sincerely apologise for our inability to supply the Samsung microwave you originally ordered, due to the manufacturer discontinuing this model. Unfortunately, it took several days for this information to reach us. We did offer an alternative model, and you kindly confirmed on 14th July that you were happy to proceed with it. While we advised that delivery would be the following day, the cut-off time had already passed, which caused a further delay. We’re truly sorry for this inconvenience. I believe your delivery is due this week. We completely understand your frustration — sometimes unforeseen issues arise, but please rest assured that we always do our utmost to resolve matters promptly. Once again, we apologise for your experience and appreciate your understanding.

I like the actual product itself. It was a hotel trolley, well made, sturdy and a nice looking trolley.

However, there were a few washers and spring washers missing from the product when it was delivered so I emailed them to let them know and to get those parts. The initial response I received was completely unsatisfactory and ridiculous to me, which was that they could not send the missing parts out and I will need to disassemble the trolley and return it to them and they would send a new trolley out. All this for some missing washers.

Fortunately, I have a handyman on site who was able to get these items so the trolley has been put together but this initial response was ridiculous to me.

However, I did receive a follow up email from them, stating that they agreed that their initial response to the missing parts was not a clear or simple solution for thier customers in this situation. I appreciated that they at least took my comments on board.

Your delivery system with Parcelforce was terrible. The Next Day Delivery you advertised on the website didn't arrive. I stayed in til 7pm the following day having got an email saying it was Def on the lorry. Then it was returned to the depot at 6.50 pm as they ' couldn't find the address' despite not attempting to ring me. I was supposed to ring an automated number to rearrange but after an hour on hold I gave up. The parcel arrived 34 days later, box damaged , unsigned for by me and left in the wrong place. Your own customer service was at least contactable but were dismissive about the problems this caused me. Terrible!
