Send 2 people when delivering the item. Your delivery person was excellent, but it needed two (very strong) people to deliver and put the freezer in place.

What we had ordered arrived damaged, it had obviously been dropped on it's corner by the courier. However, a replacement was very quickly organised and dispatched to us.

Over the last month I have purchased quite a very goods from the catering appliance superstore, some small items which arrived promptly the next day and a large fridge that was delivered within the week. Customer service superb and all goods were very good value for money, I will definitely be purchasing from them again!

Delivery policy is very customer unfriendly.

I recently had a fridge delivered, and while the delivery was arranged with a time window of 8 am to 5 pm — which is understandable — I requested that the delivery driver call ahead before arriving so someone could be there to accept it. We are a restaurant that opens at 5 pm, so the premises are not staffed between 8 am and 4:30 pm.

Despite explaining this, the delivery company refused to accommodate my request, insisting that drivers don’t call beforehand. I even asked if they could leave a note for the driver about calling ahead, but they declined. After numerous requests, they eventually said they couldn’t guarantee the driver would call — which was disappointing and unhelpful.

On top of this, the company doesn’t have a tracking system, which would at least let customers see when a delivery is approaching — a service many other companies provide. This lack of flexibility makes things especially difficult for businesses like ours that operate in the evenings and aren’t open during typical daytime hours.

While I understand that these may be the company’s terms and conditions, a bit of agility and consideration for businesses with different operating hours would go a long way. A simple phone call or better tracking options would make the process far more manageable and customer-friendly.
