What we had ordered arrived damaged, it had obviously been dropped on it's corner by the courier. However, a replacement was very quickly organised and dispatched to us.
Very often it is not until you have a problem that you find out how good a company really is.

Over the last month I have purchased quite a very goods from the catering appliance superstore, some small items which arrived promptly the next day and a large fridge that was delivered within the week. Customer service superb and all goods were very good value for money, I will definitely be purchasing from them again!

I have investigated your review and suspect your delivery may have been delayed (but now received)
I can't see any case notes. If this were the case, we are sorry that your experience with us was not positive. Please be assured we do all we can to prevent delayed deliveries, but on this occasion were at the mercy of our supplier and the information they provided us with.

However, I can see this was not reported for 9 days. Unfortunately, our terms and conditions dictate that all damages must be reported within 24 hours.
After reviewing the details of your order, I’m afraid we’re unable to assist on this occasion, as the damage was not reported within the time frame required. We put these policies in place to ensure any issues can be resolved swiftly while the delivery is still recent and all details are clear.

Delivery policy is very customer unfriendly.
I recently had a fridge delivered, and while the delivery was arranged with a time window of 8 am to 5 pm — which is understandable — I requested that the delivery driver call ahead before arriving so someone could be there to accept it. We are a restaurant that opens at 5 pm, so the premises are not staffed between 8 am and 4:30 pm.
Despite explaining this, the delivery company refused to accommodate my request, insisting that drivers don’t call beforehand. I even asked if they could leave a note for the driver about calling ahead, but they declined. After numerous requests, they eventually said they couldn’t guarantee the driver would call — which was disappointing and unhelpful.
On top of this, the company doesn’t have a tracking system, which would at least let customers see when a delivery is approaching — a service many other companies provide. This lack of flexibility makes things especially difficult for businesses like ours that operate in the evenings and aren’t open during typical daytime hours.
While I understand that these may be the company’s terms and conditions, a bit of agility and consideration for businesses with different operating hours would go a long way. A simple phone call or better tracking options would make the process far more manageable and customer-friendly.

Whilst we always aim to ensure the best experience for our customers, I regret to say that the couriers used by some of our suppliers operate independently and, unfortunately, we do not have control over their specific policies or delivery practices, including driver contact procedures or tracking capabilities.

Fridge didn’t work, wanted us to fill out form and wait for engineer. He booked himself over a week later. After lots of calls they did eventually replace but was not easy.

Perhaps another business where customers are not required.
Unable to fulfil delivery promise. 8am to 6pm they said. No problem at all. Not asking for anything special.
Attempted delivery at 7am (I have CCTV records) then claimed no-one in to take delivery.
Patronising and unprofessional attitude of their staff.
You can by domestic appliances anywhere - don't buy it here.

We do as much as possible to ensure that products are delivered to you on time and that you will receive them by the estimated delivery date promised. However, as we work with a number of different suppliers who sometimes use their own preferred distribution team, inevitably, on occasion, there will be an issue which is out of our control. Parcel has not arrived. Apparently three delivery attempts made by Parcelforce, without any notification to me, no cards delivered through door when nobody at home to receive parcel. Another delivery promised today 28.1.25. No delivery. No card. Purchase confirmed and dispatched on 10.1.25. Since then it has been lost in the mess that is Parcelforce. Very unhappy.
