Standpipes can be inserted into drains and sinks and are intended to allow water to drain away while preventing any solid waste or particles of food to enter the drain. A standpipe is an inexpensive and effective method of reducing the risk of plumbing blockages. A range of sizes are available to suit different depths of sink and different diameters of sink holes.
