Gas Solid Top Oven Ranges

Solid top gas ranges are fantastic for getting maximum hotplate cooking space. A solid cast iron top distributes the heat of a number of burners beneath, so that pans and pots can be placed across the whole surface instead of having to be located over a particular burner. Generally at least two separately controlled cooking zones are provided so you can still vary the temperature, for instance having one side set to a boiling temperature and the other to a simmering or warming temperature.
