Electric Chargrills
Most commercial electric chargrills utilise high power electric (normally requiring three phase power) and cast iron heat retaining grids to impart the distinctive branding marks and chargrilled flavour that makes food cooked in this way so universally popular. Other commercial electric chargrills cook on a grille above the iron hotplate first, catching natural fat drop off and misting it back through the food to retain moisture content, before finishing items on the hotplate if required.
