6 Plate Electric Oven Ranges

Six plate electric ovens are broadly the same size as three plate and solid top ranges, but they sacrifice the extra hob top capacity of these continuous surface area models for greater flexibility of temperature control, with six individually controlled plates that can keep six pans at different temperatures simultaneously.

Electric oven technology has improved to the point where they are the equal of gas powered ovens or even better, particularly if fan assisted (as most are). Electric oven fans circulate air for improved baking consistency and more rapid cooking. The oven on a six plate model will almost always be a wide double doored unit.
